The Month of the Dove.
Sep. 13th, 2011 07:48 pmI mentioned to my spouse the other day that the birds have been pretty quiet lately; I hadn't had any significant encounters in quite some time. I presumed they were content with my activities as an auspex. It would appear they took this as something of a challenge, as yesterday a dove was quite pointedly standing in my driveway. When I didn't get the time to post about it yesterday, the dove was back with a companion today. Before I end up with a flock of birds in my driveway, I'd best write that September is the month of the dove, a time for peace and for coming home.
This is a time to be gentle, with oneself as well as with others. This is a time to turn inward, to come home to oneself, but also a time to focus on helping each other, to tend to both spiritual, emotional and physical homes.
May you know peace and homecoming.
This month's one-card-draw will be on Tuesday the 20th. I hope to see you there. :)
